Beniamin F. Avram is an attorney practicing civil litigation with M&A Law. He brings a unique multidisciplinary background to his legal practice, combining clinical healthcare experience with legal training to analyze complex matters with precision and attention to detail.
Ben earned his accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Olivet Nazarene University before beginning his career as a Critical Care nurse, where he practiced for four years. During that time, he also served as a Legal Nurse Consultant, developing significant experience reviewing and interpreting complex medical records and healthcare-related issues.
Ben later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List and completed a concentration in Health Equity Law and Policy (HELP). During law school, he gained valuable litigation experience through a year-long clerkship on the plaintiff’s side of medical malpractice and personal injury matters. He also gained corporate legal experience through a year of in-house counsel work both during and after his legal studies.
Ben was admitted to the bar on November 5, 2025. His experience working on complex medical malpractice and personal injury matters on the plaintiff’s side provided him with a strong foundation in case development, detailed factual analysis, and trial preparation. These skills translate directly to his work in civil litigation, where he assists in navigating complex disputes and preparing matters for litigation and trial.
Outside of his legal practice, Ben enjoys collecting vintage and antique décor, vintage suits, records, and watches. He also has a passion for culinary arts, music production, golfing with friends, time with family, and traveling. Ben also serves on the Board of the Romanian Bar Association and remains actively engaged in his Romanian Christian community.
